Happy Birthday to...me

The curse of the holiday birthday. Yes, my birthday was on Thanksgiving this year, so the odds of finding anyone to celebrate with (besides my beloved Brian) were slim. Luckily, I found about 10 friends who were in town and ready to go out!

We started at an Indian restaurant downtown and played a drinking game...anytime you say "I" or "me" you take a drink. We had to cancel that game after 15 minutes because it was getting out of hand.

Next stop was King's, a popular bowling alley (yes, I did say "popular bowling alley). There we found Prashant and Sapo who were quick to join us with the shots.

We soon hopped in a cab and headed to a really cute jazz bar then we finished at The Red Line.

I won't name any names, but let's just say a couple people were pretty sick the next day.

Slumber Party!

Must have more of these.

In true Babson fashion, the party start time was 7 and the first person didn't arrive until 7:30. Funny enough, I actually figured the first person would show up around 8.

Anyway, it was instant fun once people started trickling in. Plenty of snacks and more than enough alcohol. We drank and talked and talked and drank some more. Jill managed to hoard the jello-o shots, Shweta finally showed up around 11 with the webcam (which we never got working), and we didn't get to bed until 3'ish.

It was a great evening to de-stress, say whatever we wanted, and get to know each other better. Like I said: must have more of these.

4-Day Class-Week

The calm before (and after) the storm. Next week we have a few exams; last week we had a few exams. This week we have 4 days of interesting classes then a 3-day weekend.

Rumor has it we'll eventually only have classes 4 days per week, but I don't believe it.

Exams

I started an accounting exam yesterday (Thursday) morning at 8am and completed it at 10. As soon as I submitted the accounting, my professor said, "Thank you. Here's your next one." She had a deceivingly innocent smile as she handed me the strategy / law exam that included a 23-page case study and 4-pages of directions. My team took a short break, then we were off on our strategy / law exam, which we complete in teams. It's definitely not the most exhausting thing I've ever done, but it's taken it's toll. We stayed up relatively late and started again at 8am on Friday. We never actually fought, but I think in the end we were ready to start our weekends and get away from each other. Great group of people, but there is such thing as spending too much time together. Now for the weekend...
